We're in Wonderland (Exploring Great Literature and Stretching Imagination) (Grade levels K-5)
You, Alice, and your friends are part of the act along with the Mad Hatter, the Caterpillar, the Jabberwocky, and a "Hookah" that blows as many bubbles as a young mind has ideas. In this fresh version of Alice, audience members of all ages and abilities become the caterpillar, the mome-raths from the jabberwocky poem, and the pack of cards that spars with the Red Queen. Imagination is the main attraction as  we get inside this story with a pre-show workshop in one classroom, so the kids can show off their big ideas on stage. The classic  literature from Lewis Carroll shines with new wrinkles as Bet Stewart,  Actress, Clown, and Storyteller - takes us all down the rabbit hole.

WORKSHOP: Students of all abilities will become part of the show as part of the giant caterpillar, the mome-raths from the jabberwocky poem, the card people, etc.

Stand In My Shoes (Creating Harmony & Understanding) (Grade levels K-8)
The magic of music and drama helps everyone "See Through My Eyes" and "Stand in My Shoes" to develop skills of empathy and understanding. A same-day workshop in one classroom (before the performance) pulls students right into the show, and the audience gets pulled in with them!  Small groups of students will demonstrate compromise, how to use I-statements, talking things out, sharing, asking for help, and "chance"........  all in the spirit of fun, adventure, and humor! These ways to resolve conflict and create more harmony can reinforce principles you are working with at school.

WORKSHOP: Students will do short skits that portray several methods of resolving conflict; they will also sing, and have a great time!
