Arts Education in Focus

This project is supported with funding from The John F. Kennedy Center, Martha Holden Jennings Foundation, and the Ohio Arts Council. Now in its second year, the project aims to support the professional development of arts educators, teaching artists, and administrators through a series of one-day regional workshops around the state.

The one-day regional workshop offers sessions on assessment, standards, integration, and other topics identified by regional hosts and participants.  Regional workshops are currently being scheduled for the 2007-2008 school year and will be posted on this website, including information on how you can register to participate.

Session presenters are professionals with a background in arts education, training from the Ohio Alliance for Arts Education, and the ability to work effectively with adult learners.  If you are interested in hosting a regional workshop please contact Donna Collins, 614.224.1060 or send an email to dcollins@oaae.net
